Help me find this font please

I desperately need this font. I know its out there somewhere, as I've seen it used elsewhere, and obviously, North Texas uses it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

ahh, i've been on linotype going crazy for the last bit...

Put it in Photoshop, scale it to however big you want, print it on delicious paper, and eat it. :D

check www.whatthefont.com - I believe that they have a forum full of font gurus who can easily identify it for you. They're really good, from what I hear.

The forums on whatthefont are way cooler than whatthefont as a tool, I've had much better luck posting samples there than I've had using the tool on the website.

FWIW, I posted your sample there, I'll let you know what they come up.

Also as an additional FWIW, I looked at North Texas U's identity guidelines, and they have contact info for obtaining the artwork for their logo. It might be worth a shot contacting them to see if they'll let you know what the start off font was. The logo looks like it was manipulated, at least in terms of the ligatures that are in play on your sample.

I'm certain there is a similar font due to alot of wording in it at the statium this weekend. My luck with people at the school hasn't been so great so far.

The school probably has their own print shop. Have you tried calling them? The alumni association is probably familiar with the print shop, as well as programs in the school that run a lot of ads/posters, such as theatre, etc. I would try to call the print shop if I were you! Good Luck! I have no idea what font that is!

I know you needed the font, but obviously they took an existing font (or created one) and then made the additional adjustments. maybe you can find more info on their site.

Got it. Got ahold of a fellow employee who had a contact at the school and got the graphics for me. oddly enough its all a font thats been converted to curves and then edited. those pictures shown are more edited than what i received, but what i got still looks like a true font.
I just have vector versions of each letter.
