Ok, here is the deal. I just want to get everyone's professional opinion on the following logos. Please be sure and vote, as well as add any comments if you desire. Please keep in mind that this is a community site for the modification of macintosh computers, so also include which one would best fit. I really appreciate you taking to time to read this thread!
Which of these two images do you like best? One of them is vector, but I am not going to tell you which one. Please tell me which you honestly like best and why.

Now that you have decided which one of the top ones you like best, do you like the top one or the bottom one or this next one best?

And finally the last banner/logo for the site, give me your opinions on this one as well if you like it best.

Please keep in mind that these logos are in stage one, but please provide me with your best opinion.
Cheers,
Jacob

You have a good idea with the wrench...but I think it still needs to be worked out a little more, it just dosnt look finished. Mabye its the sharp points on it and not alot of variation in stroke. The grometry on the wrench looks a bit off as well, mabye try making a regular wrench horizontally and then putting the letters 'MA' inside it....I get lost in the 2nd idea you posted, not sure what that has to do with anyhting, and the 3rd is decent...mabye a little over-done with the blurs.

#1 - I like the one on the right but I prefer the apple on the left. I don't think there's a problem with your strokes - it's a cartoony look, after all.
#2 - I tend to like this better because it's more of an icon/glyph look, less cartoony, but I don't see how it means 'Mac Mod' at all. Also, I'm not crazy about the gears here. I think they are too busy in themselves. Maybe if you had vector gears with simpler lines and subtle gradients, it would blend better with the rest of the logo.
BANNER - Other than the gears being the same as those in #2, the banner doesn't go with either of the logos. I think it should.
There! Hope that was constructive. Looking forward to seeing updates. :)

i like most things about the right one (nice job) except the apple and the 'a' - these could be lifted from the left one. (something odd about the right a to me, and the right apple looks like an old man's saggy bum!!! :) )
i agree with ylaenna - the gears in the 2nd set are too busy for a logo, imho. if you keep the cartoony, 'friendly' look of the first logos though, you'll have to ensure that the rest of the site follows through on that theme. not to say that the whole site needs to feel like a kids cartoon, but i see a leap of styles between your two samples, so i thought i'd bring the issue of consistancy up...just for kicks.
post again! let's see whatcha got! :)

well the honest thing about these is they are designs from me and my partner working on the site. He did the cartoon look and I create a vector of it, the right one. The second logo is M2 for MM or MacMod. I agree about the cogs they don't look right. I also agree that I should try a vector cog look. This is what I am going on to on my next go at the logo. Personally I don't think that the cartoon look goes with the site like yall said. It needs to flow with the rest of the site, and thats not the case. Plus I don't want to have a catoon feel to the site. Its not a childs play site! Any other ideas yall may have? I appreciate all the great feedback.

If you dont want a cartoon site, get rid of the color orange...that has a natural fun / happy cartoon feeling to it :D Mac Mod site...mabye blue high tech colors or something...Or if you still wanna go warm, red.
