Hey guys,
As some of you know we were in the midst of looking for a house. With my son getting bigger and paying rent for a 1 bedroom apt. we thought it was time to find a simple home to start our family. After about a month of looking we finally found a cozy 3 bedroom detach within our price range which is practically move in ready. The colours are exactly what we wanted to paint our home in and the basement is finished which is an added bonus. All there is left to do is the closing but that's not until December. When we saw the house, it was the second one of the day and we both knew as soon as we walked in that THIS WAS THE ONE. IT was a saturday when we saw it and put in an offer the same day. The following sunday we were counter offered by the seller and we happily accepted. As it turns out the next day the sellers got numerous offers and some offered more, but it was to late.....papers were signed and the process was in progress. To them I say...." ner, ner, ner, ner, ner!!!!". This again confirms to me that this house was meant to be ours. I know it'll be a long 3 month wait but it gives us some time to save and pack. The inspection was done last saturday and other than a few minor things the house was in great condition for a 12 year old house.
I learned quickly how stressful and frustrating it can be when finding a home but it was well worth it. My wife and I are very excited to take this next step. Sure it's not our dream home, that'll come one day...but for now we are quite pleased.
Now the fun part starts as we are looking around for furniture and a new T.V
