Sadie (my 3 year old) and I enjoyed a nice walk today. I gave her my digital camera and told her she could take pictures of whatever she wanted. Before we left, she took one of the cat and the other two are from our walk. I like to look at her pics cause she takes everything from a 3 feet tall perspective!! I think Santa Claus is going to bring her her own digital camera!

These are very impressive pictures for a 3 year old. Really, the pics arent angled, not upside down, no buger shots, no blanks, no fingers.... oh, i just realized you may have deleted those.

good for you taking your child out for a walk and taking pictures.. sounds fun.

I love the shot of the flowers and the doomed cat about to get run over by the runaway toy. I bet she would love to have her own digital camera, they have come down so much in price, and I think it's great for kids to get into something creative.

I really like the post with the reflective... thingy....

I'm sure she didn't plan it, but I think it's pretty interesting compositionally.

She was bummed that the reflection came out with too much orange!! She takes pictures with my camera all the time. I find that for 3, she does do a good bit with composition instead of just holding the camera and shooting anything. She looks at the lcd display before shooting and actually spends quite a bit of time getting it just so! She even knows how to load them onto the computer! No photoshop...yet.

Yeah, logo, my cat is pretty docile despite his handicap. He puts up with a lot from Sadie and rarely scratches her. He scratches if she tries to "hug" him.

She wants her own camera for christmas, as well as a computer (ain't gonna happen). Somebody recently gave her an imac, but I don't really have much software for it. I think we'll get her a camera. She just needs to learn when and where its appropriate to take pictures. The other day I was going potty and she opened the door and yelled "Say Cheese". Not an attractive picture, I assure you. Happened way to fast for me to prevent it!

I think Sadie takes some very nice pictures indeed.
