When i was at the Mac: Design Conference last year they showed how to do a cool Image combination trick that somehow improves the image quality by taking a bundle of digital photo of the same thing.

I think it was called HSB Image calculation or something like that, i'm sure i would have remembered it if i had CS2 back then, but i didn't and now i do..

Does anybody know what i'm talking about, and where to find that option in photoshop CS2?

HDR is what you mean. (High Dynamic Range)

You need to use Raw Images. Use Merge to HDR.

Look here: File/Automate menu or through Adobe Bridge here Tools/Photoshop/Merge to HDR.
