hi i was curious to know, is there a way in INDESIGN CS2, to take the text, and make it look like one side s along a hallway? i know this is hard to explain,.....
i want the text to lets say my text is "hello"
the effect i want is the left side or start of my text (he) to be smaller and to look further away, and the end of my word (lo) to be bigger and look closer.

i hope someone under stands what i'm trying to explain.

thank you all.

I don't think so... I tired transforming the text but it only allows you to scale, rotate and shear. Try illustrator.

I too don't know of a way in InDesign. Thankfully ILlustrator works so well wih InDy that you might try that.

Do you mean like the Star Wars opening intro text effect, but reading horizontally?

YEAH illy will do it.

Object/envelope - make with warp
For what you want, adjust the bend to "0"
and the horizontal and vertical to whatever is needed (hit preview to see the changes)
Don't forget to expand when your finish (to be able to edit colors again)

Looks like Illy. It's just a little bit of text right? Not an article or anything??
