this is my first real camera and it took a whole months worth of work and paychecks to pay for this, And now I won't be spending any money for a long time being how I am now broke but its worth it.

and you don't need a good camera to take good pictures you just have to use what you have the best way possible.

Great stuff, Crimson! Keep pressing that button and take as many photos as you can. Test out everything on there. I have been a film guy my entire life... and now I can't wait for my digital. I'd be saving so much money with a digital right now.

There are many tutorials online for most cameras. We got a Canon here at work and I was testing out all of the features. So many buttons and dials, but damn the pictures look sweet afterwards. Nice job!

Keep it up!

I know there are so many settings on this camera Like shutter speed and aperture size, Mostly I just put everything to manual so then I know if it turns out I must have done something right.

The fuzzy leaves in the first photo are kinda giving me the willies. Fuzzy leaves just freak me out for some reason.

if you rub them they feel like actaully lambs ears its feels so cool but I guess they could freak a person out.

I guess it's just in my head somewhere that plants shouldn't be hairy. At least not that much.

These are nice!! ;) I'd love more information about your Pentax SLR! Can you give me some info? Price range stuff? I'm in the market and I'm very impressed with what I see.

But as previously discussed in another thread, the camera does not the photographer make, so kudos to you for some pretty sweet compositions!!

:D
