Just added some photos to my portfolio and thought you guys might like to see. Each has some cropping and might have a color boost from Photoshop. Other than that I just added the frames. These were all shot with film... and I am soooo buying a digital soon.

Just wondering, do you work with filters at all?

You will notice a big difference when you go digital and begin shooting/working with Raw formats.

For this shoot I was only using a UV filter. The only filters I really use are in Photoshop.

Yeah, it's been great. I shoot with a digital for work, but I was born and raised on film. Digital is great! No waiting for film processing, images ready when you are, better technique, lighting... and on and on I go. :)
Now it's just saving the cash for one of my own!

It's the Long Beach Harbor Lighthouse in Long Beach, CA.

Okay, cool! My mother collects lighthouses. That's why I asked. She has all the ones on the east coast and is working her way west!

Cute monkey. So soft and furry - it looks like it's just had a bath with baby shampoo :D
The lighthouse photo looks like it's had a filter applied to it. It's too high in contrast - all the details are lost.

Yeah, there weren't many details to capture so I spent little time on the shot. The boat I was on was heading past and I needed to adjust and get it before I lost it. I definitely have to go back once my digital comes in.
