iam considering becoming adobe certified . anyone can tell me how this wil help me in my career path ? and how helpful are *********.com , ********.com , ***********.com etc exam preps are for becoming adobe certified and anyone has any exam prep sites preference for these exams . i will appreciate all responses

I've never known anyone that was adobe certified. Don't know why it would help you. Are you trying to impress employers? Because I'm not sure clients care.

I guess it would depend on your career path. For a design job, I don't know that it would be that much of an asset, but if you're looking for something else, like image retouching, it probably would be an asset.
One of the users on the forum, Ned, is certified. I'm sure he'll post something in reply to this thread.

I actually looked into this too last week. I was originally looking to become an Adobe Certified Trainer. There are a lot of hoops to jump through. I'm not sure that I have the time right now for it all.

I think the only certification that matters is if you are a printer. That means you have the apps and most likely had them in beta or pre-release so you should be up on their idiosyncrasies.
