I didn't charge for these (they're promo pics for my bf, he's a drum n' bass dj) but was pretty satisfied overall. I'm not a photographer at all, but I kinda do it as a hobby every once in a while when I have time. I'd appreciate some feedback on these, esp. you photo experts out there! I'd like to do better the next time around =)

Ally for doing as a hobby .... they are some pretty nice shots... I love that black and white one. But, I have a fondness for black and whites anyway.
I can't really give you a critique tho... I do it as a hobby myself too ... what I see... I think is very good :)

i like them. 2 and 3 are best in my opinion..the backgrounds are interesting, i love grafitti, but in the first it is distracting.
nicely done, but i too am only a hobbyist. looks good from the average persons point of view anyways

Ally I am not a pro I do it for a hoby as well but I think in the first pic you should crop it so you don't see the gas meter and leaves then it would look a lot better

Hey Ally, nice shots. I'm not a pro either, but I'd like to give a few tips for these shots.
The B&W is a little too flat, B&W is usually best with very high contrast.
The first one is definately my favourite, but I'd crop the left edge just so that the plant gets cut off, but make sure you keep the gauge.
I really like the shadow from the hood (or whatever) above the guys in the first two shots. Really nice work :D
