Click to See Complete Forum and Search --> : Back to Illustrator. (T-shirt)
This is the first time i post any of my work on this forum. But since there is a bunch of VERY talented people here, i thought why not.
I havent played around with Illustrator for ages now since school takes to much of my time, but today was the big day i guess.
I tried something new for me, a t-shirt design.
So does it work for you? would you wear this? :D
Im having a really hard time with the typo, something seems out of place, maybe you could help me out here.
Thanks!

Is the type on a path or manually placed? You need to kern the type. It looks oddly placed, so play with the anchorpoints on the path if the type is on a path.
The overall design looks good.
You are right Torn, the type is on a path. Thanks for the reply. Any more comments would be awesome!

I would like to see Cherry and the banners in more exciting display Rather than
just typed on a path. Would liven it up alot.
Quick example....
EDIT: obviously the example I put up isn't fine tuned to fit, more of a example of the shape. Something more flowing. Maybe extend the banners to the outside of the circle a tad too.

I wouldn't wear it...but that is cause I am not a cherry kind of advertiser but my girlfriend liked it! The only problem I have with it is your font, font BG, and banner are not lined up at all....if they flowed together I think it would work.
I see your point Danger M, will try that out.
They look a little more like grapes to me.

I think it would look better if the graphic were smaller and higher on the shirt.
There are little tweaks here and there than are needed though:
The edges of the banners (where the words are) are cut square. have them follow the round edge of the circle.
Also , as mentioned, the was the words sit in the banners needs to be fixed. They sit rather awkwardly.
Good start.

Looks like an Illustrator and photoshop job. But I do most everything in Illy.
