Not sure if this is the right place to post this, but does anyone know of a good place to print very low volume (1-10) posters at a good cost?

I want them to be glossy and vibrant. PSprint.com does posters but they are pricey. They do short runs on 11x17's which I may try, but I really want something bigger. Maybe 18x20-ish or so.

I've got some local sign shops that I plan to check with, but I wondered if anyone else knew of any good 'online' places.

Thanks!

No onlines but try to find a color lab rather than a sign shop. They're likely to have top of the line inkjets or maybe even a Lambda printer (though Lambda and 'vibrant' aren't always mutually agreeable). A lab is more likely to have lower prices than a sign shop who isn't necessarily constantly using their printer (therefore having higher material/overhead costs).

I work for the YMCA of Honolulu, and when i want to print posters that i've made, I usually just send the JPEG to Costco's online photocenter. They Print up to 20x30 i believe and it's like 10$ per poster. They do have to mail it though. the largest you can pick up from there is 12 x 18. Then i just take it to a local imaging shop and have it laminated for cheap. You can also check out Walmart's Photocenter and FedEx Kinko's. Hope this info helps.

Staples also does low volume digital printing. I got a 21" x 51" banner printed for about $30 there. You'd have to call to get a quote, they figure it by the square foot.

I'll bet it was a really glossy banner. Finished? Or raw? Just curious.

Once you add lam, it gets expensiver. :/
