So yeah, I bought a psp recently and heard you could sign up for websites that give you games and movies and what not. So I chipped in my hard earned $37.00 (US) for a subscription to psp blender. Unfortunetly, once I was allowed "Access" to there supposedly advertised "Thousands of games" I was re-linked to torrentspy. For those of you in the "know" torrent spy is used by people looking to acquire software, movies, music etc. Illegally.

So as it sits right now, I have put a complaint into the website asking for a refund, which im sure I will never see. So, this is basically a warning to everyone out there who owns a psp and is looking to join one of these "Sites"

Im furiated, and very very thankfull that I can use this forum to broadcast my distast for companies like this. I am now in the process of contacting an attorney, and filing a class action lawsuit against this company based out of Florida. If you are an attorney, or if luck have it, one of the owners of PSP Blender.com, know that you can't get off scamming people.

Please contact me directly if you are interested in a class action lawsuit if you have been scammed by this company or others like it. You can contact me directly at: bookdfrag@gmail.com

Thanks for reading, lets hope that this thread gets lots of hits, and these scumbags end up paying back everyone they have ripped off.

Thats not cool bro, I'd contact your local FBI office, and see what they can do to help you out, and how you can deal with those freaks. Nothing like soliciting to illegal material, and fraud.

*edit* also how did you pay that? credit card? if so dispute it with the credit card company. you dont want them after you for ripping someone off.

D-Frag

yes i paid via credit card.

for anyone who is looking for more information on these creeps, I did a WhoIs search on there website. Please refer to this company when dealing with the authorities...

All software recommendations refer to either "Freeware" or software that is otherwise available without charge to individuals at large for specific purposes....

Sites linked to and from this Site are not necessarily under the control of PSP Blender and We shall have no responsibilities or liabilities whatsoever for the content including, without limitation, the accuracy or reliability of any information, data, opinions, advice or statements set forth therein, or privacy practices of any such linked site or any link or linking program at any time.......If You decide to access any of the third party sites linked to this Site, You do so entirely at Your own risk.

Hate to say it but you should have known better and a class action is probably a waste of time. Why don't you just dispute the charge with your credit card. The card will probably deny your claim the first time, you have to submit it twice.

There is not a lot of legitimate companies out there that allow downloads of their copyrighted material - certainly not unlimited downloads for $37. Hell legally you can't even rip a DVD to your ipod because you have to break the DRM.

well, you definately have a case, cause they say "all legal downloads" and torrent downloads are mostly illegal. So, theres blatant false advertising. Good luck, fry those punks.

yeah, they may state that there,

But they also state in the advertising of their page that all downloads are legal.

Maybe you can contact equifax and see about having their secure certificate revoked? I 'd talk to paypal too, maybe. It can't do those companies any good to endorse illegal business.

Yes, but they also have an ad on their front page that says " over 20 million items and growing, no additional fees, all legal"

That is blatantly false advertising. It violates it own terms and conditions.

Sorry you got ripped D-Frag.

Ummm... Wouldn't a lawyer charge you more than $37 just to answer the phone?

Maybe they do have links to 20 million freeware items, you can't find out until you sign up. What they are doing is not right but they seem to have themselves well protected in the terms and conditions. The only bright spot is they operate in the U.S. so you may have a legal avenue to take if you want to spend the time.

I suggest you dispute the charge with your CC and call it a day.

Not on a class action - they do the work pro-bono and take a slice of the judgment.

I cant get the charges reversed, there hosting company wont give me any information. I cant even file a civil suit until I find out what state they are operating out of. Im so freaking pissed off. I don't know what to do at this point.
