I designed something as a vector graphic in Freehand and then saved it as a jpg and inserted it into a Word file. When I print the Word file on my laser printer, or my inkjet printer for that matter, it's all pixellated.
What should I do?

It's no longer a vector once you've saved it as a JPEG. Either set the resolution of the JPEG to be higher, or, if you're importing the graphic into Word yourself and know that it will be going to a Postscript laser printer, import the EPS.

Thanks. I guess I thought it would save it at a decent resolution, but the default was 72dpi. :) Thanks for the help.

That'll look pixellated, alright. :D I have to do this for our forms at work all the time, usually, if possible, especially if it's just a line art type of logo, I'll save at 600 dpi, which usually looks pretty good.

"word" is a dirty word.

I loathe it as well, but sometimes you just gotta go there. I know more about it than I even care to admit. :D

Since I'm a copywriter, it's not as dirty of a word for me. :) I don't have letterhead yet, so I'm trying to dress up a business letter to a client in Word.

I admire your fortitude using such a bloated (imo) program. I remember fondly the days of Word 5.1, when Word still thought it was word-processing program. Now it seems like it tries to do too much, for too many.
