Hello All,

Each month I take a photo from my collection and make a calendar to hang in my cube. This month it is October and thus a HAlloween-themed picture is needed. I cannot gross anyone out and so decided to take a photo and make it look vintage and a little old and eerie. Usually i just adjust the curves of the photo and maybe embelish the colors slightly but this is a astart and I needed to at least have the picture ready now and could change it later.

I agree. Maybe just a little darker then you'll have it. Looks good!

What an awesome idea. A monthly design project with a function. Great image.

Thanks. The image printed darker but onscreen looks lighter.
A co-worker said it looked Apocolyptic.
Maybe I will post the PDF of teh calendar I made if anyone wants it.
Or the InDesign file. I am thinking about printing calendars and selling them (one day, along with my mounted photos.)

Are you guys aware of the photography section of the forum? morea posts an informal 'contest' where there's a monthly theme (this month's is 'SMALL', I believe) that typically receives quite a few submissions from our more shutterbuggery (http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/shutterbuggery) members.
