Well I decided to make an ad for this game that of course I can't wait for. Due to not so much information out yet and images as well I worked with what I had. Anyways critique as harshly as you want to. I will be working on it more and more as I get more information and images to put on this fake ad in order to add more diversity and just plain improve on it.

the line spacing is to far apart.... my eyes dont want to follow the lines of text

---- Sheriff of Boobie Island --------

Wayne: Our enemy is wicked, so...
J.D.: Dude, she's Freddy Krueger.
Wayne: Damien.
J.D.: Dude, she's Vader.
Wayne: No! She's the Emperor.
J.D.: Yeah, but with really great ****.

I didn't even think about the line spacing. I will have to take a look into that later. Thanks for the comment.

web ad, print ad? ask yourself this question, and that'll direct you more.

i think it looks cool!
only thing i don't like is the text.... it seems dry and lifeless if you know what i mean.
try jazzing it up with some radical size changes to the messages you want to jump out the most, placing the text in other spots of the ad could help too.. (helpful tip: try aligning your focal points in what they call a 'backwards S' layout, thats the direction peoples eyes go when glancing at an ad.)

Can you explain this backward S thing to me? I never heard about it before. Maybe show me an example?

backwards 'S' just means designing according to how people read, left to right, top to bottom. i actually don't like the ad. you don't need more images, just good quality ones. it's too busy, too many pics that aren't used creatively. they're just placed side by side at the bottom with one large image on the right. and i agree with the others about the text. just look at some other ads that you like and go from there.
