I love the colors on both, great choices.
Allow me to suggest you use the actual Papyrus font for the "Papyrus Rothe" part. It's a less geometric font and might help you get away with the relative imbalance created by having The Sphinx sit above or to the right of the logo.
(Incidentaly, that red is my identity colour and I used a similar blue for a recent design for a book cover) ;)
