Hey guys, I am making a halloween image for a client.

It is an image of her daughter in a bumblebee halloween costume.

I'd appreciate critique and feedback, and perhaps a font recommendation for the words "happy halloween" to go in the top left corner on the black panel.

Everything has been done in Photoshop using the Pen Tool, Brush, Burn, and Dodge.

Thanks :)

Cute bees...
Interesting concept. What is it to be used for?

Tone down the outlines. Those around the skin coloured areas should be a shade or two close to the actual skin colour- as they are they have too much contrast. The line on the face need to go too.

Thanks for the tips. It may be hard work toning down the outlines now however.

She just wants it to send to her friends and family as a happy halloween message.

It's kinda small now... can't see the detail.

I like what you have done with the background.

That's a nice idea for a personalised greeting card.

The moon has a very hard edge. It needs a glow.

looks really nice IMO, only thing that strikes me is the way the candy corns look 3d almost and the rest of the image isn't, IDK how to explain it but it looks like the CCorn and the rest of the image dont match.....

I really love the color you used:) But the skin of the boy's right arm seems unnatural, too much shade, like wearing rubber sleeves. Keep it up, and looking forward to your works:p

I like the drawing of the child it's done very well.

The pumpkins need to be more pumpkin shaped rather than oval.

I'm not digging the cone shapes on the right. I still don't know what they are supposed to be (haven't seen candy corn before).

Make the wings a tiny bit smaller so you can see more of them. They're cropped too much as they are now and the texture of the wings don't help in identifying them.

Nice illustration overall though :)
