Help me. I've been staring at this brochure for three hours.
Its the colors... I can't get over the colors. I have seen pink and teal combined so much in Florida my whole life, and then in the 80s too... ughhhhh.
You don't have to help. Just sympathize.

I'm getting tired of the political stuff I've been stuck designing lately. I've seen so much patriotic red, white and blue my head hurts. That's still better than pink/teal though. eewww. Good luck with it!
LOL, it's not pink, it's salmon ;)
Way back in the late 80s I briefly worked for an aquarium maintenance company and one of our clients had decorated her house COMPLETLY in Teal & Pink. I mean everything from the paint on the walls to the knick knacks, in every single room. I wanted to gag everytime I went in there.

Ugh, too much flamingo and teal makes you sick. It's such a regional cliche too. No other color combos you can suggest?

Nope, this is what she has and what she is sticking with. We already did the biz cards, so now the brochure.
Oh gag.
I did blend in a bit more of a tan to help it some, and another of the minor colors she uses is pms 2757, so a decent blue. (still puking though)
Well, I am glad I am not the only one that has a difficult time with this color combination.

Aw, you're sweet, Jack.
The color combo on page 3, second to last, is the one I have going here. But I added tan, and am minimally using the pink and teal and focusing most on the darker blue.

I'm stuck in political piece hell now too. I try to step a little away from the red white and blue cliché by using a darker red and blue. Still American and patriotic, but not the more traditional colors that scream "HI! I'M SO TOTALLY AMERICAN TO THE NTH DEGREE AND THEREFORE YOU SHOULD VOTE FOR ME!"

Yea, I too have been using darker colors. I also have really tried not to use the flag in any shape/form. It's just hard to do because these idiots are hell bent on having all that worn out crap on there.
