Hello all, a friend of mine runs a entertainment business and he wants mw to take a look at his website and redo it basically.... its just a standard website for his business......

now im used to editing vbulletin skins where you have a image folder, and a xml file (or w/e its called). you modify the images you want and load the xml and modded images to the server and walla, customized skin....

is that basically how it works for a website? i guess its a html website. im not well versed at all in html and all that. can i d/l a free website template and modify the images and load it kinda like this or is there more to it?

is there a good place you all know for me to go online and get pointers of making a webpage?

TIA for any answers....

You can download this template file here:

http://www.centrereed.co.uk/Template.zip

This might get you started in basic html, you can amend eveything with only notepad.

But I would suggest:

http://www.w3schools.com/html/default.asp

If you want to learn it yourself from scratch, Templates are helpful to let you see how things are coded but its best to take tutorials and learn eveything yourself.

If you want a good job done there a quite a few designers that give good rates for a re-design.

Good Luck
