I'm sure there is a way to do this, but I have not figured it out yet:
I want to change a color in my document (from black to a deeper black), so I want to do it the same way you would in Illustrator (Select-->Same-->Fill).
Any idea how to do it in InDesign CS?
Thanks!

Do you want to change ALL of them or only a few?
InD doesn't have a Select Same (would be handy though).
If you want to change them all go to the color palette and edit the color.
I bet you used the default black swatch didn't you.
Heh, heh, heh. You can't edit that one. You should always create a swatch for black and white so you can edit them later if you need to.

This might be one way to work around the lack of Select Same Fill/Stroke: Clicky (http://indesignsecrets.com/find-where-that-colors-used.php)

PrintDriver is 110% correct - make a new "black" swatch and make it the default. I probably have to change "black" to some other color for a wishy washy client 3-4 times a week. If the color you are changing to is already in the swatches pallete, delete your custom "black" swatch and InDesign will ask you which swatch to replace it with (your choices are the swatches that are currently in your swatches pallete).
The seps preview is a life saver for me. You can also find it in Acrobat Pro (Advanced > Output Preview)
The only little bummer in InDesign is that you can not turn off all of the plates. So, if you want to look at individual plates, you need to turn on the next plate before you turn off the previous one. Acrobat doesn't care, you can turn off all plates.
