OK. Any of my friends will tell you that I am the most laid-back person they known. It's pretty difficult to piss me off. Only my mother, my girlfriend, and my best friend have the ability to make me truly made. Which is why have never felt the urge to post in this forum. Until today.....

Dafenix Foundation (my non-profit organization for those who didn't know), had a battle of the bands back in March. The winning band was awarded 75 t-shirts and 100 stickers as a prize. These were all high school bands that competed, most of them didn't have any merch to sell at shows, so we thought it would be a good idea to hook up the winning band. A prize that kind of keeps giving, since the band can then sell that merch and make money.

Anway, we got a deal from the company that prints our own t-shirts. They gave us a discount on the prize packs for the 1st and 2nd place bands. Ever since the start of this project they have been nothing but trouble. The winning band gave me their artwork somwhere around a month and half ago. I checked it, and passed it on to the printing company. The shirts were supposed to be one-sided, red ink on black shirts. The stickers were supposed to be white on black vinyl.

The winning band had a show on Friday July 9th, and wanted their merch for that show (understandably). The printing company promised the items would be ready no later than the 8th (one day before the show).

WELL...the shirts didn't get finished until July 9th (the day of the show...no big deal), but were the wrong color. And the stickers were supposed to be airmailed in order for an on-time arrival, but were NOT, and so therefore would not be ready in time. Now, 2 weeks later, the stickers finally arrived, and they are PAPER INSTEAD OF VINYL!!!!!!

By the way, I think these fools think that I'm an amatuer, and therefore can take advantage me. Seems like they've been jerking my chain the whole time. Plus, we're non-profit and aren't paying full price, so they assume that it gives them a license to treat us like poohyness.
