Just a logo I made...

Let me know what you guys think. I am just brain storming so when I have my meeting Friday I have some ideas started in my head. Be honest. I want to know what I can do to improve it. Thanks!

I have to say I really like it. Because it relates really well to the meaning: the way the star shoots up.
OK so maybe I would play with the fonts a bit more, or perhaps have the main logo bit slightly shorter.

i always find when going into creative meetings that it's better to have an empty head, so as not to bias your creativity. that logo is a great start, though. i guess it's just at odds with the way i would approach a meeting.

That makes total sense. Guess I am just a bit nervous and needed to prove to myself I could actually come up with something. I still have to build my confidence. I think after this meeting I will be much better. It is just the first 'professional' client.

remember to bring a notepad & pen. you don't necessarily want to start sketching with the client, or even revealing too many solid ideas (they may go away thinking you said you'd definately do something, with a whole idea of how that fictional promise looks, when you were just brainstorming and gauging their reaction to ideas), but you might just leave the meeting, find a quiet bench and sketch your little heart out.

but again - that's just me. do whatever works for you! you'll rock the pants off 'em.

I like it except for the font on 'APPLIED.' But you may come up with something totally different after the meeting. Good luck with it! :)
