typing on a path in PS

i'm trying to type in a circular path in PS. can someone please help me, i keep getting frustrated. I'm following this tutorial, and i just can't type on the circle path.http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/frusty.gif

well, if you're following a tutorial and it's still not working, it's kind of hard to know where you're going wrong... you've either got to give a little more info, or try a new tutorial. personally, i try to do all that stuff in illustrator, so i'm not much good. if you post again, maybe i can help.

hopefully somebody else knows though!

Yup. Illustrator is the tool to use. Design whatever graphics/backgrounds you want in PS, and then use Illy for the text.

thanks for replying, after awhile i figured it out. when i created a shape I didn't change the little box in the top left part of the screen. Now I can type on a path, thanks.
