That would be a great promotional product for business as well.
Heh heh, I bet feeding them through the printing press is tough. ;)

Those are fun!
Here's their rules: No product names, trademarks, copyrights or business names. No Celebrity names or specific sports teams. No major events, landmarks, religious or political phrases. No names of schools or institutions. And a whole paragraph below that defining objectionable language.

I think I'm gonna play it safe. May get some for Sadie's birthday. One color will say Sadie Claire and the other will say Happy Birthday!

Yeah, your right they have to leave the print guys hands first. ;)
*Edit:
Going to comment on Logo's comment, you can do a self promo/leave behind :) with those. When you go in to an interview hand those to them at the start. Just dont say "I had those M&M customized, so you will remember me, while you eat my name".

Dang, and I was immediately thinking of putting my business slogans on a bunch of blue ones and sending those to my customers.

You could still do it Grey, there are companies out there that use candy as promotional products. Of course they will not be actual M&M's or Hershey bars for copyright reasons but I have seen things like this before we get them at work around the hollidays all the time. Last year a company we do alot of business with sent us a huge candy bar with their logo made into it.

"Why didn't I think of this?"
And the answer is simply because you couldn't. It's a legally protected brand, that requires a licencing agreement, if that's even negotiable.
The only reason I bring this up is because as the world continues to merge into fewer and fewer corporations, with greater and greater holdings (many in the media itself), it is becoming less tolerant of 'thought infringement'. I know that there are very good business and legal arguments for the scrupulous protection of branding investments, but sometimes I wonder where it will end.
Oooo! Red one. Mmmmmmm.
