Anyone have a company or Freelancer that you are teamed with?

For example.. My best friend does Networking and IT Stuff. If i have someone who needs that I will suggest him. If he knows someone who needs something designed.. He will suggest me. :)

anything for him is free and anything he does for me is free. Well we'd take eachother out to like the bar or something.. (which is nice cuz i can drop 100s at the bar lol)

i have a few friends that i use. same situation. i'm looking to broaden my pool of talent, though, as some of the buds have moved either location or speciality. also, sometimes working with good friends is tough. i find acquaintences easier.

True. I use a couple of individuals to work with if I need something and vice-versa. What we do is generally share profit. What I mean is, if I forward a client on to them, they give me a 10% finder's fee and I do the same thing in return.

It works out quite well. We are just very up-front about what to expect from each other. And the finder's fee keeps us even and interested in continuing our relationship.

Yup. Some things I just hate doing. Like web stuff.
I got burned so many times I lost interest.
And drawing. I just so suck sometimes.
And magazine layout. It's boring.
And...well just about everything. I hate it all... but anyway,

I farm some stuff out to buddies... we trade product for time or vice-versa and sometimes there's a cheque involved, but it's always at rediculously low/at cost stuff.
But of course, when we're selling each other - that's a different story. If you want to hire my buddy - you'd better be carrying mucho deniros and be willing to part with them cuz i aint giving my buddies no slackass clients.

damn you! made me laugh and forget to answer your damn question. basically, i'm looking for anyone better at programming, coding, gui design etcetcetc than me. which is pretty much anyone. i used to be pretty adept with the old actionscripting, but then i flaked out for awhile and i need to brush up again. i don't know. i had a few buddies around who i could get onto projects, but one moved away, one i don't speak to anymore (it's really long and immature and it's all his fault) and another is no longer interested in the work.
