Hi everyone,
I'm drawing a figure in Illustrator CS and can't get the eyelashes right (*@!##$$%) and wonder if anyone's run across a good tutorial? while I'm asking how about ditto for drawing faces in Illy?
thanks in advance!

I know one good tip. They look alot better with Transparency turned down a little.
I haven't tried to actually make any, but I would draw one lash and then use the blend tool with amount of steps set so it looks good (might take a few tries). Start with a straight line of them then use white arrow to bend line to countour of eyelid.
I am not sure I would try it all in one swoop, and there maybe a better way, but thats how I would approach it.
Let me know how it goes, I have no time to test myself right now. Will try later.

wow, thanks for the quick response. that worked pretty well, I think I'll need to play w/ it a little. I used one of the hair symbols from the hair and fur symbols, scaled it down for the first one, medium size for the middle and larger for the last one, then did like 30 steps in between each one, and adjusted the curve to match the eye. It's a little too "perfect" but I can play with it a little and add some variations in shades.
Thanks Danger Mouse!!

No problem I am glad it worked...ha ha I wasn't sure I had a clue what I was talking about, just how I would approach.
Cheers
