I have several files made in Illustrator 10 and saved as PDF's. I was wondering if there was any way in which i could link the files into one PDF as it where, so you can skip through the pages?

Regards
Gareth

save your page in eps and import it in indesign then save as pdf...
The other way, acrobat pro... import all page in one document and save

Acrobat Professional is your easiest choice.

Open all your pdfs in Professional, open up your pages view and drag and drop from one document to another - you can also crop and re-order pdf pages in here easy peasy!

There's an even easier way than that. In Acrobat (both Standard and Pro), go to File>Create PDF>From Multiple Files. Browse to the files you want, select them, put them in the order you want them to appear in the PDF, and then just hit the OK button.

so easy that way, urst. I combined 28 pdf's just yesterday to make one big file, than saved as a ps file to impose. What a timesaver. Some was rgb, some was cmyk...saved as a composite grayscale ps file and waah-la!

Yup, I use it a lot when we have several different sized pieces in different InDy or Quark docs that are all part of a promotional campaign. That way instead of e-mailing individual PDFs, I can e-mail one PDF that show each piece within the one file. Makes it easier to grasp how all of the different pieces work within the same look and feel and concept.

With the Windows version, you can also just drag a list of files from any Explorer (or other file management utility) window into an open PDF and it will prompt you were to add them. By using the 'detail' view, you can sort by date, name, size etc. before you drag and they'll be added in the way you sort them.

What version of Acrobat are you using? I think the Mac support for file browser drops was added only later.

Yup, you'll have to get at least the Standard version of Acrobat for any of these tricks to work.
