Sorry if this post ended up in the wrong forum.

I am planning to buy a drawingboard to use with my PC. I use adobe Photoshop and now would like to invest in a good drawingboard, but have no idea what size would be to prefer.

My room is not very large, so out of this view small would be good. I have heard that you really dont need a4 size, a6 works just as good.

I plan on working with the following: Movie storyboards, comics and graphical interfaces to free softwaresynthesizers. Perhaps later on explore what can be drawn with such a board more closely, but theese are of primary interest at the moment.

So what size would be best? This is yet nothing I will do as a profession, more something made on spare time, but I am very serious about my equipment and dont want to buy something that I might regret later. If I buy a big board and never get use for it, or buy a small one, but feel that a bigger would be to prefer. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance

Stefan

alright stef! :)

if you get the a6 and probably wish you had the bigger one, but it does a lot for such a small space. if you've got limited space/budget/experience/need for a tablet, i would personally recommend going with a5 or a6, then upgrading later if you feel you need to. i've owned a6 and worked with a3. they're awesome. the wacom tablets are quite nice to work with - i no longer have mine, and it's first on my wishlist, above a new camera.

that's my twocents. start small and work up.

enjoy! i'm jealous!
