Kitty Banner for company

My cat couldn't haveposed any better for this banner. My girlfriend was taking pics of him and I had to use this. It's a start but what do you guys think? He is too damn cute!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!

your cat is DEFINATELY cute, and i'm not a cat person so that's sayin' something! :) you must have had a lot of fun making that banner!

the colour, font and outer glow on the cat make me feel very greeting card-ish. fantastic if that's the sentimental-style that you're going for! it's for linking to your site?

I agree about the blue. I'd rather see the same shade of blue that you have in your avatar to make the banner a bit more elegant and less loud.

its not really blue background, its purple. the same color as the cats eye would look nice. it looks almost too wide for a web banner. but i looove the design, and the cat is real nice.

I'd also agree that the background is a bit harsh in contrast to the cat. Also the radial gradient looks a tacky IMO. I like the positioning of the cat and the silo. I just think a softer feel to the background would be more complimentary to the light fluffy kitty. You may want to look at other font options too. If you are going softer and more delicate, then maybe lay down a bunch of copies with alternate script fonts and see what you like.

I love the cat (he's beautiful!) and I like the shadow behind the text. I think that if you lighten up the blue background (maybe even a little lighter than the color of the eye in your avatar) it would balance better. The picture is perfect! >^..^<

i like how you positioned your kitty. but i'm not sure if i'm all for the color, when we think of pets. especially little ones like kitties and puppies. we think of ' friendly'' ' soft ' ' huggable'. you want to incorporate that into your design.
