Howdy....does anyone know of a way to get my underlines in ID to be further down than normal.
I tried using the help feature but all i got was something about text size and weight can affect underline blah blah...

draw the line under the text with the pen tool and adjust manually

Yup. Unfortunately that's probably the only way, manually.

In InDesign (I'm using CS2), you can modify the Underline options. With the type selected, click on the flyout arrow in the Control pallette, and select Underline Options. Customize to your heart's content. :)
By the way, today is a banner day. Because of some of the questions I've looked into here today, I've learned at least four or five new things.

NYC, I found it in the Help (on Mac anyway). I just searched for Underline. Many of the answers I give in here that I'm not sure of I get from the Help. I guess it's not as hard to find good help as I had previously surmised. :D
