I'm looking for an Xtension that works like the Transform palette in Illustrator.
I need to be able to select a corner and find out the coordinates of that corner.
Quark is so GOSHDARN pancakin' stupid.

Oh Dam PD If you had InDesign that wouldn't be so hard.
You know what I do I align to a X & Y then calculate the size of the box and use the X & Y to align content. Quark can do it, it just takes longer.
Did what I write make any sense?

yeah, it makes sense Benjo.
(where you been bro?)
I've been doing the math and am tired of it.
Alas, this is not InDesign but Q6.
I have to make sure multiple item boxes are aligned where their corners meet and it sure would help
a) if the files had been built to do this easily
b) if I could only get the coordinates of all the corners instead of just the upper right...
<sigh>

I've been working. Where I used to work I couldn't get online or they would kill me. But I stayed there two years and now I'm somewhere else. You'll probably be seeing a lot more of me around.
But you can just select all the boxes and align to the top, middle, center or between objects. Just go to ITEM>SPACE ALIGN. Let me know if this works?

Hopefully that works for you PD. What I usually do is select the first item box, copy the X value to the clipboard, and then paste that value plus the the width of the left box (I just put a plus sign between the two), and that works.
If all the boxes are the same width, you could use a specific value in the Horizontal align box and choose align to left edges with a specific value as the offset. Hopefully the Xtension works better for you.

If it the files were built that way.
<heave heavy sigh>

Oh my!
That is one COOL extension!
Definitely worth the $80.
Almost makes Quark a whole new program.
Sweet.

Sweet that looks cool!
If I only used Quark I would get it but I only use Quark when I have to. But that is a sweet extension.

Mynock - Quark Xtensions, not program system extension modules. (I don't miss those suckers either. LOL!)
Panzer, the company is in Toronto, price is in US dollars. Pay via Paypal option, see what happens.
