Work, deadlines and for some weird reason the trees are dieing again. I'm starting to think this happens every year around these parts.

whoa! That can't be good.
Now that you mention it, I've noticed a similar phenomenon upstate... first all the leaves fall off, then they get really brittle. I wonder if it is the cold, or the fact that it gets dark early now, or just the normal every-day New York pollution causing this?

we should report these findings to the EPA... maybe they can do something about it. Goodness knows they get enough of property tax dollars that they ought to at least be able to provide some decent trees. :rolleyes:
