hey guys .. i'm doing a website layout for a school project (and we have to use image ready, and photoshop.) i really wanted to include a box that i can put text with a scroll bar, but i am not sure how this can be done or if it can be done with photoshop or image ready , so if you guys could get back to me and let me know how i'd go about doing that i'd really appreciate it! thanks!!

I'm pretty sure you'd have to hand cod this into the html imageready makes, but you could try an iframe.
Basically it's another page embedded into a main page. I'm pretty new at web stuff, but I tried my hand at this and it wasn't that hard to do.
Try this tutorial: http://www.htmlcodetutorial.com/frames/_IFRAME.html
Good luck!

hahah, wow. that's way too advanced for me. i'm like 2 months into class right now. we've only done photoshop, illustrator, and image ready.. i've never done any coding. I wish i understood that better, but thank you so much for your help!
Nobody actually uses ImageReady to create a website, so I can't tell you if this is possible to do or not. However, look into create a "Frames" layout. That would be your easiest solution.
Don't worry too much about it, though... If they haven't yet taught you the tools to do fully functional websites, then you won't be expected to do it. If you're only working in Photoshop, they're just looking for graphical layout, not functionality.
Wait until you get into HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, etc...
