.c3 files. Editable?

I've recently come across some files with the extention ".c3". These are models for a game, and I am eager to open 'em up and edit the heck out of them, since that's pretty much what I call "fun".

Anyone ever heard of these files before? And if so, is there a program anywhere (3D max doesn't open them) or a plugin for a program that can make them editable?

Yeah, umm... You'll probably laugh if you heard of it...

It not that good, but I only like it because I make a lot of ingame money and items for "selling" edits. But if I can also edit the models of the game, I can seriously work in a group with other people and make a total modification pack that can change the whole game, probably.

So like I said, should I upload a file?
