I just signed up and am extremely new to the online forums. I'm a graphic design student in Seattle and am also doing logo and design work for a new skateboard company. Can anyone tell me where I'm supposed to post questions about hourly/flat rates for design work? I have no idea what I should charge. I also don't know exactly what category to post in thanks

i can suggest you to pick up the book "Pricing and Ethnical Guidlines" by the Graphic Artists Guild.

Welcome dremartin! Like they said above, we can't discuss pricing. However, it is to your benefit to work with a contract everytime. I've heard board companies aren't always the best about paying up.
