Eh... Blocked!

Anyone care to help me brainstorm a bit?

I'm doing up a poster for our Operation Feed Campaign. The theme is "Hunger hurts. Operation Feed helps." And I am stuck! Just total creative block.

The only thing my mind keeps going to is a military theme (camo background with the theme/tagline and the 'thermometer' like thing to gauge progress). I'm working on that idea for the time being, but every time I've done any kind of military theme in the past it's been shot down... so I need some reinforcements. http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/happy.gif

Any ideas come to mind from anyone out there? I've been to other Operation Feed websites with no luck at finding inspiration. All of the posters/pages I've found seem really 'second rate' or tacky clip art-ish (yes, I think there is non-tacky clip art out there http://graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/icon_wink.gif).

this is just a stupid idea, go ahead and shoot it down...but how about a yin/yang slash feel to the design...maybe break it up into 2 colors 'hunger hurts' in one color block or circle or whatever...then 'operation feed helps' in the other part....maybe even do a sad and happy face...dont know....that was all i could come up with...hope that can steer you away from your militant thinking!

At this point, I'm not turning down any help... if nothing else it gets my thinking away from camo and men in uniform.... ;)

heres what i'm thinking...
have a picture of a sad 'homeless looking' child in the forground and in the background you could have a 'non-working' open refigerator with nothing in it.... and have the whole poster have that 'homeless kid in singapore, please give us your money, commercial' look to it. like use dark colors..
top could say in bold type HUNGER HURTS, and the bottom would say FEED HELPS in the same type. then bellow all that could be 'operation feed helps' and all the info that follows.
