I am having the hardest time with this one image. I made it in illustator, and then to scale it right I did a "Flatten Transparency." After this I scaled it down and made it centered on a 3x3 banner. After I added the background junk, I tried saving it as every possible thing. I even moved it over to photoshop and made the background all over again, but no matter what I do, I cannot attach it to forums, and I cannot upload it to photobucket. It acts like nothing is there. I have tried everything I can think of in terms of saving to get it to work but I just can't. Does anyone have any ideas of what it could be or what I could do to fix it? I still have the original image in illustator which is very large and not flattened, so i can go back to that if I need to. I don't think it was the flatten transparency that did it because I did not do it to the background.

I appreciate your time, and have a good day! Thanks!

Brandon

Are you just trying to upload it to the web? If so, make sure it is in RGB. Scale the size down... 72 dpi. Then try, File > Save For Web. Hope that helps. :)

BLARG!

I finally got it work, but then the scale was all screwy. In print view it was actual size, but 100% zoom it was HUGE....

Went and talked to my professor and he explained the difference between 75 and 300 dpi....

thanks Exodus.
