Hi Liam,
I always appreciate it when people comment on my work, and hope you don't mind. But this is what I'm seeing when I look at your website with Safari on a Mac running OSX 10.2.

hmmmmmmm, well i think the problem with my site is that i am using a layer for the page content text. Does anyone know a way i can get the layer to be in line whith the content box image?
heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeellllllp!
its making my site look crap, lol
maybye i will have to play around whith it.
wait, (LIGHTBULB) maybye i could use a layout table and have the page content box as a background image for a table cell ?????? i'll play around and see what i can do.

Yes Liam you got it. Don't use layers. They tend to move around from browser to browser (or mac to pc). Make a css with the image as a table background thats 100% the width and no tiling.
Maybe?
Oh and maximizing my browser just makes it worse... I'm using a 22' screen with a 1280x1024 screen resolution.

Weird... I coulda sworn I already commented on this one. My post went awol!
Anyway, I agree with Liam that it looks like you have the skills to create your own website. I think your work is good. The only suggestion I have is that you lay out the pieces in a less straight and up-and-down manner, and group them. Like in the attached file. That way, the items that you designed together will complement each other and it's easier for someone viewing them to appreciate them as a whole.
