My new website layout.

hi,
I just fired up dreamweaver (a havent used it for a long time, cause i been using a lot of flash) and I put together the layout for my new version of my website. I am going to make it pure html, and i am going to use a lot of photoshop. I might add some flash elements maybye. Since this is the 5th version of my website, I have some content i can add to my portfolio (the previous four, versions of my site). After I get this version of my site done, i am going to do some contests to tone up my photoshop skills.
Tell me what you think of the layout. I am going to add a layer where the light brown color box is, and i am going to make some rollover buttons, the same font as the header text. I am also going to find an icy texture for the background image around the outside of the layout.

yep, it is supposed to be centered. I will check out the code, i fogrgot to check that. It looks a lot better centered. I am going to add a text layer and see how that looks, and i will do the buttons. Once i am doing the portfolio section i will post all my previous versions of my website. I am learning a lot of photoshop, if i enter some contests i think i can get my skills a lot better, and i can build on my portfolio. I might not be able to start college til winter now :( because the college is behind in processing the paperwork. Oh well I learn a lot on my own, college will just be icing on the cake if ya know what i mean.

i just added a text layer over the images, it's a bit tedious. i'll have to play around whith it.
layers in dreamweaver can be tricky at times, oh well.

it looks plain, the Ice design logo looks good, u need more colour etc.

my site has content, and i fixed the layer issue. it should also be centred. and i am talkin a little break, i am now going to work on contests and work for my portfolio :) i just entered the 'chunky badge competition, i hope i win. the winner gets five badges of thier choice from: www.wearitwithpride.com and their badge gets made and sold, that would be a nice prize for my first contest. but there is a lot of competition i am gonna rely a lot of luck, lol.
