Hey all,

Just joined recently because this is the area I encounter every day of my life.

I'm 28 and work as a Desktop Publisher in Australia, we do mostly prepress work and graphic design/typesetting. I work for a lot of printers in the area, and we're the link between the customer and the printer.

I feel a little out of place as I've never studied anything nor got any qualifications... I've learnt what I know from doing my job. When I started work I realised this is what I've always wanted to do, but never realised until I started doing it! :) (Did that make sense?)

I've always been designing things for family and friends in my spare time. My program of choice is Corel's Draw, as I've used it since version 3 and can do pretty much anything with it.

That's about it. I look forward to hearing from you and getting to know you all. Looks like a real nice place you got here. :)

Hi!

One of my best friend's family is in Perth. Not such a bit stretch since we're in NZ.

I'm amazed you can do everything in Corel Draw. I've never been very good at that program.
