is Mordor darker than Morea?
lol, probably not. ;)
My GDF name is the Quenya translation of my actual name, which means "dark one". The translation is morea, pronounced "MORE-ay-uh".
There is a place in LOTR called moria (more-ee-uh), which is similar, but means (roughly) "dark place". (When the dwarven halls of Khazad-dum were taken over by orcs, the place became known as 'Moria'. Yes, I need to get out of the house more.)
"Mordor" means "dark/black place", but I thought that it was 'Black speech', rather than actual Quenya... but don't quote me on that.
