I've just had a client ask for a price on event posters. I know what I'm going to charge them, so I'm not asking that - but am very confused on how to bill them.

The thing is its a rock club and they get variable amounts of gigs. I can charge him per poster, but it would be impractical to send a bill for every single poster.

What do most people do in this situation? Add it all up at the end of the month in one bill? (that's what I was thinking of doing)

Give them 1 bill at the end of them month with an itemised list with the name of each poster.

Yep I agree with budafist and... er, yourself.

Don't make it confusing and time consuming for yourself by doing a bill after every job. The client may also get freaked out when there are a lot of posters getting done and bills being sent left right and centre. Just one at the end of the month will suffice.

Yes, if there are too many bills, some might get....*lost*
