As you may know I am trying to start a small business doing wedding invitation design. All the designs, at least to start out with are pre-done just to see the kind of feedback I get before throwing myself into custom work.

I know that I should have a contract written up but how do I write one for designs that are already pre-done? Usually this is for someone freelancing to do logos and whatnot.

Any suggestions on wording? Thanks in advance...

You don't have a contract for off the shelf designs. Why would need to?

I'm sure if you just get a deposit first, print, and then final pay upon pick up/delivery should be enough.

maybe you should provide an invoice that lists the product no. that the client has chosen, the amount...and if any deposit they placed with you, how much the remainders.

Counter sign on both sides before you send the chosen card for print.
