Dreamweaver Layer Pages Don't Print Right

I created a web page completely with layers in Dreamweaver 4 (I haven't been able to upgrade yet). It previews fine in Navigator 7.2, Explorer and Safari, but when I try to print the page from the browsers, the position and overlap of the layers are all screwed up and some layers don't even print. Is there any way to fix this? Also, when I tried to open the page in Acrobat, it converted to pdf, but it was too big for 8.5 x 11 and the edges were cut off. Is there a way to reduce the size of the page in Dreamweaver to fit the letter size pdf format? :cool:

what size did you design the pages as? when you print from your browser does it give you options to "center" the image or "fit to page".
