I work on a Mac G4, OS 10.3.9, using Adobe Illustrator CS 11.0.0, and am printing on a HP Photosmart 3210. My problem is that documents made in Adobe Illustrator print at 103% of the size they are supposed to on the HP 3210.
I noticed this problem printing a sheet of business cards, then ran a simple test by drawing two lines of specified lengths: one vertical and one horizontal. Printing this AI document out on the HP 3210, I found that both lines printed at 103% of what they should have.
Printing the same AI document on an Epson C60, I found that the lines printed out at the correct length.
Similar documents with two lines of known length made in MS Word and AppleWorks printed correctly on the HP 3210.
I have seen some other forum threads stating a problem of oversized printing from AI to HP 3210. Does anyone know if there is a known conflict between AI and the HP 3210? Has anyone had similar problems?
Is there anything that can be done to fix this problem?
Thank you.
