when i create a new document in Dreamweaver MX it brings up the New Document Dialog... this is the first times its ever happend... (and the box is unchecked in the preferences for this option)...

and also, any time i move/resize a cell i get a error that says "The table you are trying to edit has Tags or Text outside of the table, continuing will either move or delete the selected item" or somthing like that!!!!

and when i try to give a cell a background image, it doesn't even show up....

WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON!?!?!?!?

i hate dreamweaver! http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/emoticons/frusty.gif

Learn HTML and delete DW.

If it weren't for the last minute, nothing would ever get done.

Never put off till tomorrow what you can avoid all together.

something is up with the program I would just restart dreamweaver and reboot

---- Sheriff of Boobie Island --------

Wayne: Our enemy is wicked, so...
J.D.: Dude, she's Freddy Krueger.
Wayne: Damien.
J.D.: Dude, she's Vader.
Wayne: No! She's the Emperor.
J.D.: Yeah, but with really great ****.

it's not a permanent solution, but can you open an existing file and resave it? it might work as a 'just for now' option.

the new document box or whatever it is can be a pain, but ultimately a good way to set up a new project, imho. some okay dw tutorials at tutorialfinder.com <- i think that's what it's called.

sounds like a buggy program or something... i don't know from stuff.

i managed to work around it... (putting a space after the background image made it work on some of them for some reason... hmm go figure)
