Another thread brought this to mind...

We all set things up differently and I was wondering what yours is. Are you neat - are you messy - are you a lefty or a righty?

I don't have a lot of the programs you guys and gals do but I do have Photoshop so this is my set up.

I move my stuff around. I've tried to have a "system" but it didn't really take.

Yeah, I'm kinda the same way EC. Plus I only have a single monitor set up at home. At work's where I have the dual setup, it's easier to keep that "systematized".

I wish Photoshop let you do the side docking flyout palettes like InDesign does.

I have all my palletes on the right hand monitor, work space on the left.

dual monitors will change your life..... no kidding, you'll see more clearly, think more deeply, food will taste better, life, love, and all the rest will simply become more fullfilling!!!

Me too. But the tools always stay on the left. I found them that way the first tiome I ever used illustrator and never saw the need to moove them.

My palettes just go wherever there's room, so they always in different places. It does get annoying, but just can't seem to come across an arrangement that works for me. I also try to minimize whatever I'm not currently using to save a little screen space.

I run out of room too VN when I am working on a bigger project .. I want a 52" plazma screen monitor :D
