This may seem like a dumb question but...how come I can't find the tapered stroke brush in the brush pallete in Illustrator CS2? I can't seem to find it in the libraries either. I have never used the tapered stroke in illustrator before.

Go under window/View brushes then load the brush using the white arrow in the Brushes pallette.

Yup i think i did that, I have my brushes open but still couldn't find it. In what brush library is it in?

Not sure what one that is. Is it in the artistic caligraphic?
ah there are some in Artistic Ink...load that up and they are near the bottom.
