Did something similar in my first year of college as a class assignment using different point size drawing pens and ink, it was a killer. We did one in line art, solid ink then the dot of the same image traced of a photo.

You are so patient, I feel in design that patience is a really great attribute because often I've turned out designs that are far less creative than I could have turned out if only I had more patience to sit at it longer....grimace...
I am a very impatient person, when I get an illustration to do that is quite complex and I know it's over 4 hours worth of drawing, I get depressed thinking about doing it and procrastinate.
At the moment I have something sitting on my desk that is about 9hours worth in a design style I don't enjoy creating.....I have to do it by the weekend really, at least the draft sketch for the client to approve before I draw it properly.
I'm out at a Christmas party tommorow so I'll be drawing with a hangover on Saturday!
